Through minute doses of natural substances, usually plants or minerals, the body's own healing power is stimulated and enhanced to fight off illness. In the case of labor and delivery, homeopathy can enhance a woman's natural instincts and ability to birth her baby. In this class, you will learn a brief history of homeopathy including where and how it started as well as its current importance in our current health care climate. You will learn what homeopathy is and just how it can benefit you through your pregnancy and birth as well as in treating your newborn. Be prepared to take notes as we will provide you with a helpful list of remedies that are commonly used during pregnancy and birth. We welcome parents, doulas and midwives!
